The two problems a shuttle solves

A reception with a bar and a venue with a parking lot creates a drink-driving problem that no amount of hoping fixes. A shuttle removes it. It also stops the reception starting forty minutes late because a third of your guests are circling a Vaughan banquet hall looking for parking.

Sizing the loop

Work from the hotel block, not the guest list - only guests staying at the block will use the shuttle. Then decide the headway: a twenty-minute loop feels like a service, an hour feels like a wait. A mini coach taking twenty-four clears a hundred guests in about four runs, which is the usual answer for a mid-sized wedding.

The late loop is the one people forget

Getting guests to the venue is easy - they all want to arrive at the same time. Getting them home is spread over three hours, and the last run matters more than the first. Agree a final departure time, tell guests clearly, and budget for the vehicle to wait. It is the cheapest hour you will buy all day.

Different ceremony and reception locations

A Toronto church and a Vaughan or Mississauga banquet hall, or a Niagara-on-the-Lake winery with hotels back in St. Catharines - these are the cases where a shuttle stops being a nicety. Without one you have fifty cars making a twenty-five minute transfer at the same moment.

Book it with the couple's cars, not separately

The shuttle and the wedding party vehicles should be on one timeline with one operator. Split across two suppliers, the handover between ceremony and reception is where the day goes wrong.
