Child Safety Seats in the Greater Toronto Area
Ontario law requires appropriate child restraint by weight and height. Tell us the ages and weights at booking and the correct seats are fitted and checked before the car leaves our garage.
What the law requires in Ontario
Infants under 9 kg travel in a rear-facing seat. Toddlers from 9 to 18 kg travel in a forward-facing seat with a tether. Children from 18 to 36 kg, under 145 cm tall and under eight years old, travel in a booster. Above that, a properly worn seat belt.
What we need from you
Each child's age, weight and height at the time of booking. Approximations lead to the wrong seat being fitted, so please check rather than estimate - particularly for a child near a threshold.
Fitting
Seats are installed and checked by the chauffeur before the vehicle leaves. If you would rather use your own seat, that is entirely fine - the chauffeur will help fit it.
