What we collect and why
When you make a reservation
Our booking engine is provided by a third-party reservation platform and is embedded in this site. To create a reservation it collects your name, contact details, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel dates and times, passenger and luggage counts, flight details where relevant, and payment details where a card is taken. That information is processed to deliver the trip you booked, to contact you about it, and to keep the financial records the law requires us to keep.
When you use the enquiry form
We collect the name, email, phone number and trip details you enter, and use them solely to answer your enquiry and, if you go on to book, to arrange the trip. We do not sell them and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question.
When you use live chat
Live chat is provided by Tawk.to. Conversations, and any contact details you type into them, are processed on Tawk.to's systems as well as ours. Do not send card numbers, passwords or identity-document numbers through chat — use the booking engine or the phone for anything sensitive.
When you simply browse
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which routes into the site work. It records page views, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the events described below. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Strictly necessary. The booking engine and live chat set cookies needed to hold a session together. Without them, they do not work.
- Preference. We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
- Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions and measure traffic.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the booking engine and chat from functioning.
Who processes your data
- Our reservation platform provider — reservations, quoting and payment handling.
- Tawk.to — live chat.
- Google (Analytics) — anonymised traffic measurement.
- Our hosting provider — server logs, which record IP address, request and timestamp.
- Affiliated chauffeur operators — where a trip is fulfilled outside our own fleet, the operator receives only what they need to complete it: passenger name, contact number, addresses and timings.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anybody else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Reservation and invoicing records are kept for as long as tax and corporate record-keeping law requires. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule. Chat transcripts are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Under Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Ontario law you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to support@GTABlackLimousine.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are entered directly into the booking provider's system and are not stored on our servers. Access to reservation data is limited to staff who need it to run the trip.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Bookings involving children are made by an adult, who provides only the age, weight and height needed to fit the correct child seat.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.

Your rights, and who to complain to
Personal information handled by a private-sector organisation in Canada is governed by federal privacy law, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada is the independent body you can raise a concern with if you are not satisfied with how we have handled yours. You are entitled to ask what we hold about you and to ask us to correct it — contact us and we will answer.
